Andrew Morton sent out non-MM patches for the Linux kernel, including the hung task counter for Linux 6.13 and completing the folio conversion in NILFS2 code. The patches include a feature to detect the number of hung tasks since boot time, aimed at helping Linux server administrators monitor potential software/hardware issues. This addition provides a simple metric, previously unavailable as a “hung_task_detect_count” report. The pull request also includes clean-ups to the resource management code and finalizing the folio conversion for NILFS2 file-system.
