Lox is an evolving astrodynamics library designed for the modern space industry. With a focus on mission planning, analysis, and advanced tools, Lox offers a variety of crates such as lox-space, lox-time, and lox-earth to cater to different user needs. It also includes features like a space mission simulator backend, Python bindings, and tools for working with time scales and celestial bodies. The name “Lox” pays homage to liquid oxygen, the oxidizer used in the first liquid-fueled rocket. Although still in active development, Lox promises to be a valuable resource for space enthusiasts.
