An Australian clinical trial led by The Brain Cancer Centre will investigate the efficacy of double immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy for glioblastoma patients. Dr. Jim Whittle, a leading Australian neuro-oncologist, will lead the study, with drug access secured by Prof Long. The trial aims to determine if this approach could be a possible breakthrough for treating glioblastoma. The Brain Cancer Centre, founded by Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer, will announce recruitment for the trial at a later date. This world-first clinical trial will involve a representative sample of patients and will build on exciting research in the field.
