Triforce – a beamformer for Apple Silicon laptops

Triforce is a beamformer designed for Apple Silicon laptops such as the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. It helps isolate desired signals from background noise using an adaptive beamformer in userspace. The goal is to make the microphone array more useful by reducing sensitivity and making it directional. The project aims to simplify dependencies and is a work in progress based on basic engineering principles. Expectation management is key, as Triforce may not outperform Apple’s implementation yet. Known limitations include performance issues and mono output. Any patches to improve Triforce are welcome.
