B.C. woman buried in Amazon packages she did not ask for and does not want

Anca Nitu, a resident of Langley, B.C., has been faced with a strange and stressful situation. Almost every day, she finds Amazon packages containing women’s shoes at her doorstep, despite not having ordered them. These packages, sent by people across North America intending to return them to the Amazon seller, have resulted in over $300 worth of Collect-on-Delivery customs charges, causing Nitu sleepless nights and a loss of appetite. The Better Business Bureau suspects that her residence is being used as a return address for sellers to dump unwanted products. Nitu is currently disputing the charges with UPS and finding little progress in stopping the deliveries. Amazon says they are taking corrective action, but Nitu claims the issue has yet to be resolved.
