GDS is introducing GOV.UK Forms, an online form builder that simplifies the process of creating digital forms for government departments. It saves time for both departments processing form submissions and users filling out forms. The tool allows government teams to replace PDF and document-based forms with accessible and compliant digital forms in just minutes, without requiring technical knowledge. Currently in private beta, GOV.UK Forms will move into public beta to be freely used by any central government department. The platform offers features such as routing, making live form drafts, and providing detailed guidance. Future plans include user management, self-service accounts, and additional features like analytics and email confirmations.
