ESA’s Euclid space mission has released its first full-color images of the cosmos, showcasing its ability to create razor-sharp astronomical images across a large portion of the sky. Euclid’s mission is to investigate the mysteries of dark matter and dark energy, which make up 95% of the universe. It will observe billions of galaxies over the next six years to create the largest cosmic 3D map ever made. The images released demonstrate Euclid’s remarkable capacity to capture sharp and detailed images of celestial objects. Scientists hope these images will provide insights into the evolution and structure of the universe.
