The Mold Course provides an overview of mold prevention and remediation based on the EPA’s guidance document. It is intended for public health and environmental professionals, building managers, custodians, remediators, contractors, and other professionals who deal with mold problems. The course does not cover all situations and methods, but offers guidelines that may be preferred by some professionals. It is important to note that the course does not describe all potential health effects related to mold exposure and consultation with a health professional is advised for detailed information. The EPA does not regulate mold or mold spores in the air. The course works best with certain screen resolutions and JavaScript enabled. Navigation through the course is possible using the menu bar, and additional resources, such as a PDF version of the course and a Mold Image Library, are available. Continuing Education Credits may be offered by some organizations for completing the course, but no certificates or CEUs are provided by the EPA.
