A unique turbo-jet engine from a British Airways Concorde is up for sale on eBay. The engine, which is not operational and can only be used for static display or repurposed as furniture or art, is being sold for over $700,000. The engine is the only one sold by British Airways with an afterburner and original log book. It is approximately 18 feet long, five feet high, and weighs three and a half tons. The seller notes that it is perfect for dismantling and repurposing into collectible pieces. The engine was originally installed on a Concorde with the registration G-BFKW, which was later re-registered as G-BOAG. It flew for 22 years before being retired and is currently displayed at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
