Vision Pro Teardown – Why those fake eyes look so weird

The Vision Pro, Apple’s latest VR headset, features a unique bubble glass front with an odd lenticular screen that displays a 3D-ish video of the user’s eyes. While some tech journalists find the EyeSight display bizarre and of dubious utility, it adds complexity and potential failure points to the device. The Vision Pro also comes with a separate battery pack to avoid making the headset too heavy, as weight distribution is crucial for comfort. The headset includes a Solo Knit Band and a Dual Loop Band for wearing options. The teardown of the device reveals interesting details about its construction, weight, and the functionality of the EyeSight display.
