A unique house in New Zealand, known as ‘the lighthouse’, is up for sale for the first time in 35 years. The house rotates like a carousel, offering views of the sea or native bush, depending on the owner’s mood. Designed by engineer Don Dunick, the rotating system took five years to perfect, with all services rotating smoothly with the house. The property, valued at over NZ$1m, has garnered international interest since being listed for sale. The ingenious design allows for a better lifestyle, with the ability to adapt to various natural hazards. Don Dunick, the creator, plans to move back to New Zealand and semi-retire, calling his creation an “amazing achievement ahead of its time.”
