Medical professionals trained in “civilised” countries may not know about how humans survive in the wild. Nature provides an automatic manipulator to correct spinal and joint issues in primates. Sleeping and resting postures among tribal people exhibit few musculoskeletal problems. Different postures correct different joints and are nature’s way of maintaining health. Western civilization’s use of pillows and certain postures may contribute to musculoskeletal issues. Natural postures can prevent low back pain and joint stiffness. Studying non-Western societies can provide valuable insights into natural methods for preventing such issues. The author emphasizes the need to adopt preventive techniques from primitive societies for better health.
