ExectOS – brand new operating system which derives from NT architecture

ExectOS is a stable and flexible operating system designed from scratch with a brand new XT architecture. It features a powerful driver model, modular design, and an own native application interface. Unlike the NT™ architecture, ExectOS integrates a hardware specific code with the kernel, eliminating the need for a separate Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL). The user mode is designed to run applications from various operating systems, including Win32 applications. ExectOS is completely free, open source, and community-driven, with technical support from the architects and developers. The goal is to keep the advantages of NT™ architecture while implementing new features and technologies. It requires modern EFI enabled hardware to run.
