NASA Releases Hubble Image Taken in New Pointing Mode Using Only Single Gyro

The spacecraft is back in action after technical issues with its gyroscopes. A new image showcases a galaxy called NGC 1546, revealing dust lanes, a bright core, and regions of active star formation. Hubble and the James Webb Space Telescope are working together, along with the Atacama Array, to study star formation and evolution. The telescope has transitioned to a new pointing mode, promising more consistent operations for groundbreaking observations of the cosmos. Dr. Jennifer Wiseman from NASA is excited about the potential for years of discovery ahead, ranging from our solar system to distant galaxies.
