The author has decided to no longer officially support Red Hat Enterprise Linux for their open source projects. They will still provide support for CentOS Stream, Rocky Linux, and Alma Linux to the best of their abilities. However, if a user mentions using the author’s work on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, their bug/feature/support request will be closed as ‘not reproducible’. The author’s decision is based on Red Hat’s lack of free and open access to the sources required to build and test against their Linux distribution. The timeline for this transition is ongoing and the author will decide on a case-by-case basis whether to strip all RHEL-like support or attempt to fix the problem.
