Received the exciting Pocket Reform from MNT, an open source, accessible, modular device. The smaller form factor packs a punch with full Linux, open hardware, and a stunning Pinatex sleeve in purple, staying on brand! The chunky, well-constructed machine is user-serviceable, with a complete manual and schematic. The ortholinear keyboard and responsive trackball provide a unique experience. Despite some software and hardware challenges, the community support is excellent. With plans to expand hardware and software capabilities, the Pocket Reform is a hacker’s dream. Eagerly awaiting the modem expansion card and future possibilities, all while appreciating MNT’s commitment to open hardware.
