Typeset is an HTML pre-processor that brings typographic features to webpages that are typically only seen in fine printing. It offers real hanging punctuation, optical margin alignment, small caps detection, soft hyphen insertion, and punctuation substitution. Surprisingly, Typeset does not require client-side JavaScript and uses less than a kilobyte of CSS, working even in Internet Explorer 5. It can be used manually or as a plugin for grunt and gulp. With configuration options available, Typeset allows users to customize their typography experience. Developed as part of the Blot project, Typeset is dedicated to the public domain and licensed under CC0.
