炊紙(kashikishi) is a text editor that utilizes GPU to edit text in a 3D space

Kashikishi, a text editor developed using Rust & WebGPU (wgpu), allows editing text in a three-dimensional space. The software is still in development, and frequent disruptive changes can be expected. The motivation behind Kashikishi is to offer a more dynamic and engaging text editing experience compared to traditional two-dimensional layouts. Unique features include smooth document editing operations, seamless zooming and adjustment of character and line spacing, support for vertical writing, and experimental modes like Psychedelic and AR. The software is open-source under the MIT license and prioritizes the use of the “UD Digital Textbook Font” where available.
