The author experimented with working at a desk while cycling on a stationary bike trainer. They initially faced challenges with awkward keyboard handling but found a solution using a tripod mount for their split keyboard. By angling the keyboard downwards and towards the front wheel, they were able to comfortably type while cycling, enabling them to write articles and code with ease. The author’s ‘vim everywhere’ approach allowed them to navigate websites entirely via the keyboard. Despite some wrist discomfort, this setup opened up a range of work possibilities while cycling in zone 2.
