Google is rebranding its AI collaboration tool Bard as Gemini and introducing two new experiences: Gemini Advanced and a mobile app. Gemini Advanced gives users access to the Ultra 1.0 AI model, which outperformed leading alternatives in blind evaluations. It is more capable at complex tasks like coding and logical reasoning, and can also generate step-by-step instructions and help with creative projects. The Gemini mobile app allows users to access Gemini on their phone, enabling them to type, talk, or add an image for assistance on the go. Gemini is available in over 150 countries and territories and costs $19.99/month as part of the Google One AI Premium Plan.
