It takes the form factor of the BeagleBone Black and has compatible P8 and P9 cape header pins, allowing users to expand its capabilities by adding their favorite BeagleBone cape on top. The BeagleV-Ahead features a powerful quad-core RISC-V processor, making it an affordable option for those interested in exploring the new RISC-V ISA. It also includes impressive features such as a 2GHz quad-core CPU, graphics processing unit, neural processing unit, and video encoder/decoder capabilities. Additional highlights include 4GB RAM, 16GB on-board eMMC flash, USB3 super-speed, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi connectivity, and expansion options via mikroBUS shuttle and BeagleBone cape headers.
