Blackmagic Design is developing the URSA Cine Immersive camera, created to capture content for Apple Vision Pro with impressive resolution. The camera is anticipated to be based on the Blackmagic URSA Cine 17K platform, boasting a custom lens system. The Blackmagic RAW Immersive file format simplifies immersive video post-production by storing lens data per eye. The new DaVinci Resolve for immersive video editing will make it the world’s first immersive video editor, offering unique features including the ability to adjust and monitor clips on the Apple Vision Pro itself. The URSA Cine Immersive is set for release in 2024 and is expected to be a high-end camera.
