We are thrilled to introduce the upgraded Claude 3.5 Sonnet and the new Claude 3.5 Haiku model. The Sonnet offers significant improvements in coding, leading the field in this area. The Haiku model matches the performance of our prior largest model, Claude 3 Opus, at a similar cost and speed. We are launching a groundbreaking new feature in public beta – computer use, allowing developers to direct Claude to interact with a computer interface. This feature is still experimental and may have some errors, but we are eager to receive feedback for further enhancements. We are excited for developers to explore the possibilities that these new models and computer use feature offer.
