Data allegedly stolen from 560M Ticketmaster users

A hacking group called ShinyHunters claims to have stolen personal details, including names, addresses, phone numbers, and partial credit card information, from 560 million Ticketmaster users worldwide. The group is demanding a $500,000 ransom to prevent the data from being sold. The FBI and Australian government are involved in investigating the cyber incident, although Ticketmaster has not confirmed a security breach. Cyber security experts warn that the claims could be false. The alleged hack coincides with the relaunch of BreachForums, a dark web site for buying and selling stolen material. This would be a significant breach if verified, as it could be the largest in terms of numbers and data extent.
