DeskHop is a unique and clever solution for those who use multiple computers and want a seamless switching experience. The author, who was dissatisfied with USB switching boxes, created this project to allow for quick and easy switching between computers using a keyboard shortcut or by moving the mouse pointer between monitors. Notably, DeskHop works with different operating systems and has no noticeable delay when switching. It is completely free, open-source, and requires no software installation. The hardware consists of two Raspberry Pi Pico boards and an Analog Devices ADuM1201 digital isolator. However, it is important to note that the code may have occasional bugs and the project has not been tested with a wide range of devices.
