Entropic Engineering partnered with DEFCON Badge Team to create a cutting-edge electronic badge for DEFCON 32. Despite facing numerous challenges and working tirelessly to meet DEFCON’s demands, the team was met with a sudden work stoppage and non-payment for services rendered. The team continued to work behind the scenes for free to ensure the success of the project, driven by their love for the community. The unexpected turn of events left them disappointed and confused, with promised compensation and recognition revoked. Despite the setbacks, the team remains grateful for the community’s support and is committed to fulfilling their goal of supporting a young engineer’s education.
