FedEx is facing a lawsuit accusing the delivery firm of carrying out the largest odometer rollback fraud in history. The allegation is that the firm replaced the odometers in many of its retired vans to read zero miles, used the vehicles for a bit longer before selling them at auction with just 100,000 miles or less on the new odometers. The suit also claims that many of the vans’ odometers would register a number considerably lower than their actual mileage, which meant that business owners buying the vehicles would experience mechanical problems and be forced to shell out far more money than initially expected.
