Google pulls Fitbit from almost 30 markets

Google has decided to pull Fitbit from almost 30 countries, limiting its availability to only 23 countries, including Canada. This move comes after Google acquired Fitbit with the intention of making health features more accessible. According to Google, they are aligning Fitbit availability with the regions where their Pixel products are available. Although this decision may be disappointing for customers in the affected countries, Google assures that existing Fitbit devices will still be supported with customer service, warranties, and software updates. This is not the first time Google has made such a move, as they previously removed Nest Aware subscriptions from certain markets without offering an alternative.
