Grind – A first person shooter for Amiga 500

The Amiga 500 version of ‘Dread’ continues to impress with each new update, featuring improved textures and new areas to explore. The game aims to bring a Doom-like experience to the Amiga, making it a highly anticipated release in the world of Amiga gaming. The latest update showcases a new city level called “Darkenward east,” which is still in its early stages and will undergo further changes as more levels and enemy types are introduced. The game now fully embraces a Steampunk/Lovecraftian aesthetic, with a new HUD, protagonist, and high-quality weapon designs. The development team has also expanded, with well-known coders joining to assist with the game’s production. A Patreon-only binary release includes an Atari ST version, although it is not yet ready for public showcase. The team plans to continue adding new features and levels to the game in order to achieve their short-term goal. System requirements for the Amiga version are a minimum of an a500 with 512 CHIP and 512 OTHER RAM, with a recommended a1200 + fast RAM.
