Help the Library of Congress create games to improve public knowledge of civics

The Library of Congress is calling on video game developers to create engaging video games centered around civics, using resources provided by the Library. The inspiration for this challenge came from the classic game, Oregon Trail, which was both educational and entertaining. Cash prizes of $20,000, $10,000, and $5,000 will be awarded to the top three entries, and the winning games will be featured on the Library of Congress website for public use. The deadline for entries is November 27, 2023. More details and submission guidelines can be found on the Library’s website. The challenge is made possible by the Friends of the Library of Congress.
