I am pleased to announce that the fourth edition of my book, Linear Algebra Done Right, is now available as an Open Access book. The electronic version of the book can be accessed for free worldwide. The fourth edition features numerous additions and improvements, including over 250 new exercises, over 70 new examples, and several new topics. It is aimed at undergraduate math majors and graduate students, with a focus on understanding the structure of linear operators on finite-dimensional vector spaces. Determinants are deliberately placed at the end of the book, and the text offers clear explanations and motivating examples. The print version of the book will be published by Springer in December 2023 and can be pre-ordered. The book has received positive reviews for its didactic approach, elegant proofs without determinants, and clarity through examples. It has been widely adopted by universities and colleges as a textbook.
