Adrian Black stumbled upon a brand-new mainboard for a CRT television on AliExpress. He took a gamble and ordered it, and to his surprise, it was indeed a new product from 2023. Adrian decided to transplant the new board into a 20-year-old Magnavox television set. Despite some differences in layout and connectors, he was able to fix the mechanical issues with a Dremel tool and hot glue. He modified the power supply to accept PAL signals and discovered that the new mainboard also supported NTSC and SECAM. This solution could be useful for those needing a multi-standard TV in their lab.
