At CES 2025, Nvidia introduced Project Digits, a personal AI supercomputer with access to the Grace Blackwell hardware platform. This compact device can run the entire Nvidia AI stack and is designed for AI researchers, data scientists, and students. It features Nvidia’s new GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, offering up to a petaflop of computing performance for running AI models. Two Project Digits units can be linked together to run models with up to 405 billion parameters. However, with a hefty price tag of $3,000 and running Nvidia’s Linux-based DGX OS, it may not be affordable for everyone, but Nvidia believes there is a market for it.
