Oklahoma receives first “Made in Oklahoma” EV

The State of Oklahoma has received its first three electric vehicles from Canoo as part of its fleet modernization initiative. These Lifestyle Delivery Vehicles (LDVs) are the first of their kind in the state fleet and have been assigned to various departments. Oklahoma Governor J. Kevin Stitt expressed excitement about the return of vehicle manufacturing to the state and praised the alignment of these electric vehicles with their fleet modernization goals. The state has been working to reduce waste and improve efficiency by identifying underutilized vehicles and downsizing the fleet. The LDVs from Canoo are seen as a modern and environmentally friendly option.
