OpenSSH 9.5 released with keystroke timing obfuscation

OpenSSH 9.5 has been released and it comes with significant changes. One of the key features is a transport-level ping mechanism and keystroke timing obfuscation. This obfuscation hides inter-keystroke timings by sending interactive traffic at fixed intervals, and it also sends fake “chaff” keystrokes after the last real keystroke. These changes are controlled by a new ssh_config keyword. Additionally, there are bug fixes and some small features added in this release. It’s worth noting that Ed25519 keys are now generated by default. The OpenSSH community and contributors are thanked for their support.
