A while ago, the author built a gaming PC with specific components. However, after months of use, the PC froze mid-game and went into a BIOS loop, only detecting one of the Seagate Firecuda 530 SSDs. After some troubleshooting, the author realized that the failure might be temperature-related. They experimented by leaving the SSD in the freezer and were able to access it again, but it failed as it heated up. After careful manipulation of the board and using a metal G clamp and other materials, the author was able to get the SSD to work temporarily while copying important data. Ultimately, they considered permanently fixing or replacing the SSD.
