Samsung unveils monobloc heat pump for residential applications

Samsung has unveiled a new monobloc heat pump for residential use that claims to provide hot water of up to 75°C when the outdoor temperature ranges between -10°C and 35°C. The heat pump utilizes propane as the refrigerant and has a nominal power of 14 kW with a coefficient of performance of 5.0. It features an enlarged heat exchanger that transfers more heat compared to traditional outdoor units, resulting in reliable heating performance even in temperatures as low as -10°C. Additionally, the heat pump can replace old heating systems that previously relied on gas boilers. Samsung’s AI Energy Mode adjusts hot water temperature based on user needs while reducing energy consumption. The dimensions of the heat pump are 1,270 mm x 1,018 mm x 530 mm.
