Serial adapter/reboot controller for Apple M1/M2

The Central Scrutinizer is a tool designed for Apple M1 or M2 machines that connects via USB-C. It provides a low-level debugging port for operating system developers, offering features such as hard-rebooting the machine and USB2.0 pass-through for booting with the m1n1 bootloader. This tool is not necessary for MacOS users or those who don’t perform bare-metal debugging. The Central Scrutinizer requires soldering a Raspberry-Pi Pico and flashing firmware. It was created by a Linux kernel developer to aid in debugging low-level code and can be used without a screen or keyboard. The device is open-source and users are encouraged to contribute.
