SP New Energy Corp. (SPNEC) is working on the development of a massive solar farm in Nueva Ecija and Bulacan, set to be the world’s largest project of its kind. The Terra Solar Project will consist of over 5 million solar panels with a capacity of 3500 MW and 4000 MWh of battery storage. The project is expected to generate over 5 billion kWh annually, making up 5 percent of the Philippine grid. SPNEC is moving quickly to clear the site and aims to deliver the first phase by early 2026. The project received a significant investment from MGen Renewable Energy Inc. (MGreen) for its implementation.
