The Cody Computer

The Cody Computer is an 8-bit home computer DIY project inspired by 1980s Commodore home computers. It features the 65C02, 65C22, and P8X32A, along with 3D-printed components and a custom keyboard. It runs “Cody BASIC” and supports assembly language programming with 64tass. The graphics and sound are reminiscent of Commodore computers, with features like multicolor graphics and SID functionality. The project is named after a museum-loving boy and all design files and software are freely available under the GPLv3 license. The Cody Computer Book provides detailed project information, with future content promised. Check out videos of the Cody Computer in action and download the book and design files from the GitHub repository. Contact [email protected] for more information.
