Manufacturers of solar inverters can easily manipulate millions of installations, potentially causing widespread chaos. Calls for stricter regulations and oversight are growing, with suggestions to classify these management companies as “grid managers” to ensure proper security measures are put in place. Collaboration within the EU is crucial to address this pressing issue.
