Water is a critical element in our lives, shaping where we live, what we eat, and impacting people and infrastructure. The National Hydrography Dataset Plus High Resolution offers the most detailed map of the US waters, featuring over 32 million features for detailed analysis and mapping. Available throughout ArcGIS, including in 3D scenes, this layer showcases new cartography and rich attributes for better understanding. Challenges in designing the symbology were overcome to ensure clear representation of features. The future holds more tips and tricks for working with this dataset.
