After five years of hard work, the author has completed the world’s first FPGA N64. They have meticulously probed every aspect of the real hardware and have now finished the core, with only some upgrades remaining. The author is proud to have designed the CPU, bus, MIPS interface, PIF/SI interface, ROM reader, RAM controller, and both the RSP and RDP cores. It is worth noting that no leaks were used in the production of this core; the author relied solely on emulators, reverse engineering, and extensive patent research. They express gratitude to the N64Brew team and Decompiler teams for their testing and source code access. The author shares their progress on Twitch and YouTube and admits to an addiction to coffee. They have no qualms about buying themselves a cup to fuel their addiction.
