UTM is a versatile system emulator and virtual machine host for iOS and macOS that allows users to run Windows, Linux, and more on their Mac, iPhone, and iPad. It offers full system emulation with support for over 30 processors, including x86_64, ARM64, and RISC-V. The UTM SE version is a “slow edition” that doesn’t require jailbreaking or JIT workarounds and can be sideloaded as a regular app. The UTM app is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license but includes some (L)GPL components. It also relies on various MIT/BSD License components for its frontend.
