Voyager 1 is back online! NASA spacecraft returns data from all 4 instruments

NASA’s Voyager 1 spacecraft is back in action after experiencing communication issues due to its age and distant location in interstellar space. The team identified and successfully fixed the problem with the flight data subsystem, allowing the spacecraft to send back usable data from all four science instruments. Despite being launched in 1977 for a mission to study Jupiter and Saturn, Voyager 1 continues to provide valuable information about interstellar space. The team will continue to maintain and optimize the spacecraft to ensure it operates effectively. The successful revival of Voyager 1 is a testament to the dedication and expertise of the team.
