WinDirStat – Windows Directory Statistics

WinDirStat is a handy tool for Windows users to analyze disk usage and free up space. If you’re a Linux user, check out KDirStat or QDirStat, and for MacOS X, try Disk Inventory X. This program provides three views of your directory tree: a list sorted by file size, a treemap showing all contents at a glance, and an extension list with file type statistics. Each file is represented by a colored rectangle in the treemap, sized according to file size. Directories are shown as rectangles containing their files and subdirectories, with shading indicating the directory structure. Visit the WinDirStat blog for updates on this program.
