Jazz² Resurrection is an open-source reimplementation of the classic game Jazz Jackrabbit 2, released in 1998. It supports various versions of the game, including the Shareware Demo, Holiday Hare ’98, The Secret Files, and Christmas Chronicles. Additionally, it partially supports some features of the JJ2+ extension and MLLE. The latest version of Jazz² Resurrection was released on July 23rd, 2023. Experimental builds with unreleased features are also available for download. The game can be played on Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, Web (Emscripten), and Xbox platforms. It requires specific system requirements and the cache is recreated during the intro cinematics. The project is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 and uses the modified nCine game engine.
