The Trinity Desktop Environment (TDE) project is proud to announce the release of TDE R14.1.0 after more than 8 years since R14.0.0. TDE aims to provide a traditional desktop experience for Unix-like operating systems. This lightweight desktop environment is ideal for users who prefer a lean and efficient experience, and it is compatible with various Linux distros, BSD, and DilOS. The new release includes support for LUKS disks, a new notification system, basic PulseAudio support, and PKI infrastructure. Other additions include a new bluetooth GUI, multimedia player, and session management and panel. Python 2 is no longer supported, with a shift to Python 3.
