Zoom, the popular video conferencing platform, is asking its employees to return to the office at least two days a week on a hybrid schedule. This move comes as the company believes that a structured hybrid approach is most effective for collaboration and innovation. In 2020, Zoom experienced a surge in usage due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but its stock has since fluctuated as employees have begun returning to the office. Currently, only 2% of Zoom’s employees work on-site. Despite this shift, the company plans to continue using its platform to keep employees connected and support its global customers.
